Water, Mountains & Nature

The Attersee region has a lot to offer with its beautiful lake, the mountains and the diverse range of summer and winter activities. DAS ZEIT is the ideal starting point to explore the region around Lake Attersee and the beautiful Salzkammergut. In just a few minutes you can reach the Attersee by car or bicycle. Along the banks of the Ager, which runs just a few meters from the hotel, you can reach Lake Attersee in just a few minutes on foot. Both the Attersee and the Ager, with their turquoise-blue, crystal-clear water, invite you to swim in summer. In addition, the Attersee is generally considered a hotspot for sailors, divers and water sports enthusiasts of all kinds. But also away from the water, athletes in the area around the Attersee have a generous range of beautifully situated golf courses and tennis courts. The unique, prehistoric pile dwellings around the Alps are part of the UNESCO World Heritage and attract many interested visitors to the Attersee region every year.

If you have any questions about the leisure program of the region, please contact our dedicated team at the hotel reception at any time.

The Höllengebirge & the Salzkammergut

On the south and south-east shore of Lake Attersee, the foothills of the Schafberg and the western end of the Höllengebirge offer you an extremely spectacular mountain landscape that offers numerous hiking and mountain tours, via ferratas, mountain bike tours and climbing opportunities. The region is also generally known as the gateway to the Salzkammergut. You can reach the regions of Ebensee, Bad Ischl, Hallstatt and Wolfgangsee directly by car or bicycle through the beautiful Weißenbach valley. In general, the region offers a wide range of cultural events all year round, above all, of course, the Salzburg Summer Festival.
